"A bit more info regarding the photo showing me watching a model airplane being built.....you can see the tail end of the plane at the lower left of the photo. Later that day, one of the ice-pick type tools being used by my neighbor rolled off the porch and landed in my shoulder as I played at ground level. I remember the incident....had no idea that I had a photo commemorating it!" (Merle Citrin Monroe)
